(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The carnival, held at al-Jalaa Stadium under the title "Jasmine Fragrance", was organized by a group of Syrian youths.
A number of political, social, media and religious personalities were honored at the carnival in appreciation of their stances toward the misleading campaigns targeting Syria.
Political analyst Nasser Kandil said that this carnival proves Syria's victory over the plot which aimed at fragmenting the Syrian people.
For his part, Sheikh Ahmad Sheikho said that the campaigns made by the Syrian youths in the last few months prove that Syria and its people are fine and that Syria will remain a strong and immune country in the face of the enemies.
Patriarchal Vicar of Patriarchate of Antioch and All the East for Roman Catholics Bishop Luka Khoury said that Christians and Muslims have been living together as brothers and they fought together for their unity, freedom and Arabism.
"We are with President Bashar al-Assad because despite all difficulties and conspiracies, he managed to make achievements to his people and country," Bishop Khouri added.
Head of the General Sport Union Mwafak Jomaa, said that athletes are proud that they always were participating in organizing and hosting all national activities that prove their deep belonging to the homeland and support for its President.
MP Khalid al-Abboud said that the Syrians are passing through an accurate historic stage in which their will and national unity are tested, stressing that there is a great conspiracy targeting Syria and its national and pan-Arab stances.
